Romeo and Juliet on steroids. That's how I would describe "Close My Eyes Forever" by Liita Ford and Ozzy Osbourne.
Although the subject matter is a bit morbid for some people, this is an absolutely awesome song. Simply defined, it's about a couple that can't handle their breakup, and are contemplating suicide. The rhythm, tempo, pitch, and reality of the song, makes it's nearly the perfect ballad.
"Close My Eyes Forever" was released in 1988 and peaked at #8 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. I am sure that this would have hit #1, but for most people, reality scares the hell out of them.
The primary footage for this build was from the original Video recorded in 1988. Of course I had to cut it up and edit in my own "cool ranch flavor" just to make it different from the 100's of the same video on YouTube. Hope you all enjoy it
