Lighting

I'm not very satisfied with my lighting on my last video, and actually not really satisfied recently. I really want to know if there are any good lighting kits I can get for fairly cheap and how would I want to position them?

I usually sit at a desk, in case anyone wants to know my setting in my videos.

I bought some cheap photography lights from ebay. The bulbs were way too bright at first so I threw some smaller bulds in. I too sit at a desk and sometimes its hard to position them correctly. I was going to maybe shine one at the wall in facing and let the light bounce back to me and maybe one hitting the ceiling

only problem is my room walls are purple and tints everything...
might repaint in the next few weeks.
