lighting setup

so i got a new camera and people saying i need lighting to make my vids look good, but got no room for soft top light maybe a small ring light that attaches too the camera i can use or any small lighting like a desktop light.

what would be better out of them two and how would i set it?

do i put the light behind the camera?

A light coming from you camera is probably best if you shoot relatively close to your camera.
I'd also suggest looking in color correction and brightness in your video editor, that can help a ton too

I do unboxing vids and reviews so my camera is pointed down at the product

Then probably use the ring light, it will give the best quality in my opinion.

I would say SUNLIGHT as the best source of LIGHT, all of my videos have good lighting bcz I had the SUNLIGHT coming from my window

Most people like the 3 point lighting set up to get rid of shadows.
