Letter of Completion

Finished the YouTube Creator Academy class. 13 videos, 11 assignments, 6 quiz, 4 hangout, 2 weeks and 1 test later.... it's all over. I got the letter of completion.... not sure why I expected it to be something a little bit fancier than this. Idk that's not even really a letter. I thought it would say something like:

This Certifies That ​

Nicekid76 ​

has finished the requirement for completion adopted by the Youtube Creator Academy and is therefor entitled to this Letter of Completion.

On the tenth day of June in the year of out Lord two thousand and thirteen​

Signed by some important youtube staff people / the person in-charge of the Creator Academy.​

Whatever I guess I can this for now... I'm happy I'm done. Just wished it looked more official.

I never went to any of the google hangout things, how were those?

The hangout were pretty cool, honestly I only went to two so far since the other two are on thrusday. I was looking forward to them more than I was looking forward to the class or the forum itself

Parts of it... I would say allot of it was obvious. Like I said I think the hangouts were the most informative part of the entire course. And I also learned a little more about the things I already knew, but then again I'm a guy who already read the youtube playbook a couple times so maybe it's not obvious and it was just that I already read the playbook since maybe 2 years ago.

hey Nicekid76 i just got this "letter" too and expected more..
but i liked the course with the videos and activities. but you are right, the most informations we already had.. i learned about tagging sections and changed my channel description. but nothing more i guess..
i watched the hangouts for about 10min but after that i was bored 'cause of the informations i already knew. but maybe there was more and i should have watched longer^^

from the hangout I learned that you have to be ready for what happens after you video goes viral (I not saying my video will) but pretty much how to deal with the increase jump. Also, I learned some awesome tricks about tagging. Like this couple enters commonly misspell words into their tagges so that even if you misspell it you'll still find the video.
