Let's play audio and video not in sync

I've Got It
Hey guys when I am recording gameplay (with fraps) and facecam/my audio with windows movie maker, I sometimes have my audio go out of sync with my face or myself and audio go out of sync with the video even though I edit them (with sony vegas) to the same length. This is really aggravating any advice?

Hey Khopiotic,

Video capture, especially with software like FRAPS, is a resource intensive task for any CPU. I would make sure you have any unnecessary programs closed and start your recording on a restart so your system memory bank is fresh.

Another thing you could do it the editing process is just manually allign the out of sync audio with your video. I know it's a pain but it might just be something you'll need to end up doing. Lastly, always make sure the video you are importing into your editing software (in your case windows movie maker) is being rendered at the same frames per second as the raw video.

Let me know what you figure out.

Thanks for the response! How do you suggest closing processes? Even when I close everything my physical memory is about 57%. It is smaller when I restart the computer strangely enough. The longer the CPU is on the bigger it gets haha. CPU usage on the other hand is about 5%
