Length of render?

Was just wondering whats a good render time. A 5 minute regular 720p for me renders in about 3 minutes? How quick does yours render, what software do you use and what render settings?

A 20 minute gaming video of about 2 gigs in size takes about an hour and a half to render on my laptop.

Usuall if I edit everything properly and have large fraps files then usually twice the length of my video.

You really need to start compressing your files. 2GB is massive. What quality is it?

720 gb It gets smaller when it renders, obviously, but idk how to compress it, haha

use AVS Video converter. Thats how you compress it even more then the render

When I did gaming vids, I tended to have 20-25 minute videos, which ranged between 500Mb-900Mb, and took between 20-30 minutes, they were full 1080p avi's. Now doing vlogs I render in full 1080p mp4 files, and they are about 500-600Mb for a 10 minute video, and take about 15 minutes to render.

Since my animations are really short the renderings in sony vegas take one minute .

my laptop is old and slow now so I turn off all the high processors and displays and get about 17 mins for a 5 min video... I am looking at a ne wlaptop in the near future though that will be a beast
