People say you should upload on the same time every week, I just can't. Sometimes it takes like a week to finish something that I could have done in an hour...

Gaming might sound easy. Most people think it's just record and upload but if you want to do it like it is supposed to be done you are busy for a few hours.

Yeah, I always postpone it to a later time. Right now I just tried to record but I am talking just to talk and I don't even know what I'm talking about. Sometimes recording works, sometimes it doesn't. It is hard to keep yourself motivated and filled with energy all the time.

Holy hell yes, i feel that right now. I was suppose to have a video up yesterday but i ended up working on my car all day after work. I slept most of the day, still a little tired. Irritated because i wanna film an put a video up today but have no ideas an no energy to put 1 up.

Oh yes, definitely. I do this all the time. Of course i do the best job i can on it but a lot of times i put the videos/editing off for awhile. lol.

yea i feel like that too, but i realized if i record alot and make alot of videos in a short amount of time, then i could upload those videos when i dont feel like recording and then fill the gaps when i do

On my old gaming channel I uploaded over 10 videos a day, so yeah, I'm happy with only uploading a few a week now so it's really down to you.

Honestly an upload schedule has really really helped me, before I had one I would upload a video when I could be bothered, which wasn't very often! Maybe once every two weeks or so, but now I have promised one at a certain day and time each week and I have kept to it! Maybe try that!

Honestly, this is the worst thing that can attack you when you're a YouTuber. If I consistently made up videos, i could have been 2x as famous as now, but the problem with me is that i release one video a week and sometimes two weeks.

I'll need to speed up that process and do something unique while still uploading more frequently.
So from next week, no more being lazy! I'll fight it back and do something right!

Anyone else feels like that?

Regular uploads don't always lead to guaranteed success. I've seen channels that upload three times a day and get 0 views, but I've also seen channels with 600k subs who upload once a fortnight.
