Last question I swear (at least for a while)

Let me start off by saying I know I ask a lot of questions but it's because I want a successful channel.
So, I've realized I am NOT the Let's Play type, but I still want a gaming channel, so my question is, how can I have an entertaining gaming channel with it being let's plays? Thanks everyone!

It's just not my thing, I'm not the kind of person who can commentate through an entire game, I can hardly sit through an entire game as is. So idk what to do.

you could try recording it and edit it down to skip the bits you dont need then add commentary for the video you have left afterwards or try an action packed game

I can't play action packed games because they are all high res :/ And I can't just add commentary for a already edited video because I'd have nothing to talk about.

see what you mean im the same cant commentate but balls to it im still trying lol i have seen people just play games like happy wheels and flash games and all they talk about is the game in short vids so they dont need to talk much just who made or developed the games things like that and retro games on roms and stuff is an option hope it helps

not all action packed games are high res, try the older devil may cry games or doom or a ton of n64 games? also why wouldn't you have anything to talk about? you can talk about the game or just say the things you would previously have said if LP'ing the game and if you cant find things to talk about then you could try doing game guides, short little videos showing people how to do certain things in certain games.

Well being a successful gaming channel is incredibly hard to achieve. Generally those who do manage it are playing recent games.
I don't do let's plays, I just play 10 minutes of an old game and talk about it (or have multiple games in that ten minutes) that might be more up your street.

not really true look at jontron, peanutbuttergamer, the angry video game nerd and the completionist, you can get a good amount of views and subs with retro games, its just the starting up part thats harder

I took a look at your channel and it kind of gave me the idea to play space invaders. It seems like that would be easy as I could talk about the game, then cut to a part where I get a little more frustrated and so on. That way I'd only have to be talking directly to the audience for a minute, then the rest would be me yelling at the game.
