Hi all I am new to the site, and to recording on Youtube in general.

I have tried to record footage on my laptop, however when I play it back it is laggy/ jumpy.
Not being the most tech savvy, I am unsure of the reason, and whether is down to the capabilities of my laptop.

Here is my system information:

Operating System: Windows 10 Home 64-bit (10.0, Build 17134) (17134.rs4_release.180410-1804)
Language: English (Regional Setting: English)
System Manufacturer: TOSHIBA
System Model: SATELLITE C50-B
BIOS: 1.60 (type: UEFI)
Processor: Intel(R) Celeron(R) CPU N2830 @ 2.16GHz (2 CPUs), ~2.2GHz
Memory: 4096MB RAM
Available OS Memory: 3982MB RAM
Page File: 2948MB used, 2062MB available
Windows Dir: C:\WINDOWS
DirectX Version: DirectX 12
DX Setup Parameters: Not found
User DPI Setting: 96 DPI (100 percent)
System DPI Setting: 96 DPI (100 percent)
DWM DPI Scaling: Disabled
Miracast: Available, with HDCP
Microsoft Graphics Hybrid: Not Supported
DxDiag Version: 10.00.17134.0001 64bit Unicode

Thank you for your help :)

This needs more clarifications, like the manner you record and playback your videos...

Not quite sure what you mean.
I record using OBS and use an Avermedia LPG lite capture card to record the gameplay. However when I play it back using VLC, the footage is jumpy and not smooth.

If you have a ps4 you can capture direct to twitch or YouTube so I don’t think you need a pc anyway

Hi, I don't think it's a good idea to shoot and stream from the PS4. It's like streaming from FreeDOS, I've been trying to reinstall it on Windows for a long time by the way.
