Lack of feedback from viewers

so my videos get very very few comments sometimes people drop in and might comment but not often, so my question is, how can I get more comments in every video I ask people to comment and once I hit 250 subs I have a competition to (hopefully) get some extra comments but, watching any of my videos ( ioo5 here,so all the assassins creed videos) can anyone give any suggestions to boost comments?

Yeah, I agree. I always put a question to the viewers before the end of my vid. Also, it might not be appropriate for your format of videos, but I try and feature a comment or two from the previous video. But, I'm a vlogger, so it's a bit different.

I get the same problem all the time... I post my videos on forums and people watch them which is great! But no matter how many times I ask for comments on youtube instead of forums posts, Facebook posts and such... But they still only reply on the posts not youtube :/

I was thinking about featuring commenters , if this competition goes well in any way I will announce featuring commenters when I announce the winners.I will try to put that into practice and I already try to ask questions but I will step that up too.Thanks I think some of this could help

give them a reason to comment, show interaction by featuring the viewers comments in the videos, this way people will be encouraged to comment

Getting comments is the toughest part with my channel. When people comment it's usually positive or a technical question about the car.
