No Mercy For The Weak
Well this have been bugging me for a long while.
I do have 260 subs, but it seems like its just a big number and people never intract by commenting.
Anyone that haves a idea how to make subscribers more active and make them comment more?

It would be great if you checked my channel and maybe gave me some advice how to improve.
Much love~

Well I can't be of much help, as I have the same problem. I have 95 subs but my videos rarely reach 50 views within a week. And they get probably 10 to 15 comments and 5 to 10 likes. Sometimes its discouraging.

I have the same problem, and many times I get a mail with ... has subscribed to your channel and never heard from him again. (Comment or something)

I'm pretty new to the whole thing, but the way I see it, only 1 in 5 subscribers will probably be active, and that's if you are lucky.

So don't feel put off by it, just keep doing what you are doing, and interact with those that are active and the number will slowly increase.

Try to interact with you viewers. Ask your viewers questions or ask them their opinions or have them suggest things for upcoming videos. Then mention some of them in your next videos so they feel appreciated. People always love seeing or hearing their name in a video.

I gave away Black Ops 2 and nobody wanted it.

Well maybe try to give away a game that isn't s**t next time :p.

In all seriousness though, you didn't get a single response? I find that hard to imagine if you're giving a new game. Though it could be people don't take it seriously or something or don't believe you are actually giving away a game. How did you promote it?

I got some responses from people I know and some random people who didn't subscribe to me, but the subs that subscribed me didn't response.

But it wasn't a big succes.

Always give them a call to action.

Tell them to comment below, but give them something to comment (ask a question, or ask "which is better... A or B?!"). Then you can reveal which answer got the most votes in the beginning few seconds of your next video. That way the viewers can watch one video to the next and it works seamlessly.

Also give them something to up-vote comments for. If you start reading out the Top Comments in your video, then people will start automatically trying to comment to get theirs into the next video.

Oh and don't forget to tell people to Like, Comment and Subscribe. It's good to have annotations saying it, but nothing does it better than having you say it and ask for it. Even give them a few seconds pause to scroll down, comment and like.

Here's an example.

"I tell you what viewers. I want to see if you can read minds. Right now I'm thinking of a number. It's between 1 and 100, comment below right now and I want to see how many of you get it right!

Go on, comment below, I'll even wait for you.

*wait 3 seconds*

Oh while you're down there, click that Like button on the way back up for me? Cheers!

*wait 2 seconds*

Right thanks for that. Now let's see if anyone got it right...."

That takes about 20 seconds out of your video at most, but should see a lot higher view:comment ratio.
