Knowing what tags to use

What is a good way to figure out what tags would be the most beneficial in getting people to see your videos?
 
the most relevant tags that apply to your video but there is more to it then the tags there is the description and the title of your video which will also need to be thought about to help get people to view your channel plus sharing your videos on social media can help and most importantly getting involved in the community commenting on videos posting on forums not begging for subs or views on your channel helping people with tips and what not goes along way.
 
I think it just requires you to have a lot of practise of experimenting with different tags for different videos. See what works best for you and which videos get the most views
 
Type into the YT search bar what your video is about. YT will show you what people are searching for. Mix those keywords every which way you can, as long as it's relevant. Populate your t/t/d and cc with these keywords.
After some time, perhaps a week or two, go into Analytics and you can see the search terms that people are using to get to your channel. Make more videos for those search terms and their variations to build authority in that category.
