Kinetic typography videos

Hey guys,

I'm wondering if any of you out there know how to make a video like this:

I really like this style and theres a song that I've been dying to make a video like this to.

I'm not sure of the software used to make it either. Would it have been done in Adobe Premiere or Final Cut Pro?

I think this tutorial could help you, it is for After Effects though and you would probably be able to do what you want in sony vegas more easily:

I used Adobe After effects...but it doesnt work for me....i prefer Vegas Pro 11

Hey, I've recently wanted to make a motion typography video but I didnt know how. This thread been really helpful. and I really like that Janie's got a gun video too.
I agree that its way easier to make them in sony vegas than it is adobe after effects. that program is really confusing !
