Has anyone here used the video editor Kdenlive before? If so can you tell me how to fix this problem?

I recorded a video and edited it but when I try to render it, the rendering finished instantly and the file is corrupt. I don't know what's going on because I record my computer screen with the same camera and edit it on the same program with no problems.

The differences here is that in the vlog video (the one that's corrupting) I have titles and music, I'm thinking those might be causing the problems but I can't figure out why and I can't remove them without the video ending up like merde (pardon my french)

I haven't had first hand experience with that program before but it definitely sounds like the exact issue I would have with Camtasia. I would edit everything and then once the time to export the product would come up, if I exported in MP4, it would shoot to the rendering screen/timer, stay on 0% for about 1 minute, and then say complete. I would look in my output folder and nothing. Oddly enough, it worked with wmv. Just not mp4. Thankfully, it set the wheels in motion to get adobe premiere and I haven't looked back since.

Now I know this doesn't do much in fixing YOUR issue, but you mentioned titles and music, so that could be possibly adding an extra strain on your pc? Try a simple method like exporting that video out in a different format. See if that does anything. Worth a try, anyway.
 
It turns out that the titles were the problem, I replaced them with images with the text on them and it exported just fine. Strange though
 
Really? Huh.. I wonder if something similar was the case when I tried Cam. Not that I care at this point considering how barebones that software is.
