Im sure everyone knows KATY PERRY - DARK HORSE music video!
I just wanted to know what is this effect called at 1:16??? How to apply this in after effects? Any tutorial or help is greatly appreciated :)
 
It's just a simple lightning effect. It could be pretty easy to reproduce, or even find a free overlay on youtube.
In AE there is "advanced lightning" effect. Try that one out.

Thanks brother, but I want to specify my words, I m worried about the man turning into sand! I m curious about that part, how to turn my body into a sand like this???

That will be a bit more difficult. Haha
You'll need a green screen for sure.
It's probably a clip of sand falling masked over the clip of the guy. They are most likely just using a circular mask that has feathered edges and expanding it over the timeline.[DOUBLEPOST=1424358749,1424358607][/DOUBLEPOST]So basically, it's a mask over a mask ... if that makes any sense....
