Joining the hype?

SigmaPLUS

Hello Mineturtle.
I have realized that one of the easiest ways of becoming popular is to join the hype, such as drama, new games, etc.

This is what I recently started doing:

Since H1Z1 is a new game that has been hyped about for the past year or so, I immediately grabbed a copy of this game on release and have made a video for it already. Since I was one of the first few, I should be able to get popular off of it or at least get some viewers off of it, right?

It's just been released but there's been videos of it around for a while.

If it H1Z1 becomes a hit like DayZ was then you'll definitely get some views out of it.

It's hard to say when a game will kick off and become a popular game. I've mentioned this a few times but I did a Five Nights at Freddies video when it had literally just come out. I managed to get about 3000 views before the big youtubers got hold of it. I thought nothing of it at the time and thought I was just playing some random game :P

Yeah, most are just copies of developer streams and not real actual gameplay. FN@F was a great game to pick up, too bad I don't really like horror games, haha.

Honestly I'm so tired of the "hype". It was what founded my channel's growth without a doubt; however, I have been posting less and less often over the last few months. At first thought it was me running out of content, but it the transition of caring about the hype associated with that like button and being the like ***** I usually am. Should be fun to see where it goes. Maybe it dies, maybe it evolves or maybe I learn to love the hype again. YouTube is always fun :P

It´s the same with Babymetal, They got hyped as well and a lot of people still does videos about them (I even admit that I did some videos about them). Will it go down? I don´t know!
