JFK Tribute Video - What do you think of my video plan?

Hey guys,

I'm making a JFK tribute video for the 22nd November (50th Anniversary of his assassination) and currently have a plan of what is going to be in the video. It will feature several parts of his speeches as well as a video of his funeral and death etc.

My plan is to start the video with scenes following his death (showing sadness) and following this by showing footage on the run up to the events of his death before finally showing the assassination.

Do you think this is a good idea for the tribute video?

Leave the death out. We've all seen that horrible footage of the American dream being killed.

Perhaps end the video with "Do not pray for easy lives. Pray to be stronger men" or something similarly poignant

I do agree with leaving the death out though. Just show what was so great about his life and show his great achievements, not how he died.

I could leave the death out but cut the video a split second before the final shot. I was going to include a speech by RFK about him and leave it on that.

If I was you, I would just give a brief description on what day he died, where he died and how he died and leave it like that. Focus the video more on his great achievements. :)

Great idea :), but don't show him being shot. That is really gross, and some people watching it might throw up or something:sour2:
 
Thanks for the feedback! Any ideas on what I should call the video? I don't really want to go with "JFK Tribute".

"The day America died" seems pretty fitting, because with Kennedy out of the way the CIA and the mob pretty much took free reign over the states.
