I've got some questions regarding channel and promotion..

Hello everyone as the title states, I've got some questions.

Well I have been promoting my channel and videos on various sites but I don't really get any feedback or so. I'm currently trying reddit, facebook, google plus and Twitter.

I don't try too much to self promote I'm merely asking for feedback to improve myself. When it comes to reddit well these guys mostly ignore me or just say: "endless trash". I'm fine by that because it's an opinion and I just said "thanks anyways :D". But all of the other social media sites just ignore my posts which is kind of frustrating. Is there something wrong with my channel or is this normal for a beginning channel (It's one week old as pf now.)

My question for you guys is: Is there any possible way to promote myself better or change my channel so people might actually want to check it out?

Thanks for the effort!!

Before promoting anywhere outside Yt, you need to ask yourself the qn: 'where is my audience?'

If your audience is on Pinterest it makes sense to promote there (middle aged women in the midwest mostly)
If you audience is on Snapchat, promote there (teenies)
If your audience is on Reddit, promote there (mostly gamers under 25?)

The reason you are not getting traction, is because you are promoting to the wrong audience.

I never spend more than a few second on Twitter or Facebook dumping a link (just for the heck of it) because my audience, 4-8 year olds, are not on Twitter or Facebook.

Find out where your audience is, then target them with a focused message on the platform where they are.

Another example, some of our audience are on Musical.ly I know this because many have asked if we have a profile there or load on there. So if I wanted to promote outside Yt, we would make an account there, the kids would make specific Musical.ly videos, and we'd promote there and entice the audience to see more on Yt. Even then I would not expect conversion to be more than 1%. You have to ask then, is it worth the time?

Don't wildly dump your links all over the place. It's a waste of time. The whole of social is saturated with billions of posts of content. Look for targeted focused engagements.

Thanks for the response! It makes sense, now I only got to figure out where my audience is !

I saw somewhere ages ago some info that broke down in great detail the demographics of each social media platform. Just google demographics + social platforms, something should come up. Academic research papers usually have lots on this info too, if you can access ProQuest or similar through a public library.

Alrighty! Thank you for the help!

I've had a look at your channel, I really like the idea you have going there!
However, your thumbnails don't seem to have any theme with them.
think of ways you can get across your idea in your thumbnails and your banner. like having your icon in the corner, or a little pencil drawing out the titles? You can think of better stuff than me I bet

Also your audio levels are off a bit, your intro is really super loud, but then i had to really turn up my volume to hear your voice in the background.

a youtube rep told me to do this:

click on your channel. and if you knew nothing about it, would you get whats it's all about before watching a video?
If not think about making your channel stand out at a glance.

I would try the animation subreddit? or speed drawing channels. and most importantly, keep going and keep trying to improve!

I wouldn't worry about promotion until you have started to draw a natural audience on youtube. Then start thinking about boosting it!

i have question people

tell me anyone;

is views of country depend ytb video rank?

so, popular country views is important for video rank ?

I think your channel is more likely to get promoted in your own country viewers, but it doesn't have much of an impact. My UK audience is tiny compared to American, Germany and Spain. And im from the UK
