It's so awful.

Here's a little secret for everybody looking to grow a channel. It's so awful!

The pain of waiting for analytics to refresh everyday. Sitting around after spending hours editing a video only to have a fall into YouTube oblivion, never to see the light of day except for the random person who decides to goto page 45 and in a drunken stupor, clicks on your video.

I believe my content is worthwhile and building up an audience does take a while. How have you guys dealt with the anxiety of growing your channel?

Here's what I've done:

1. Check analytics in the morning, at lunch and at dinner.
2. Closing my mail application
3. Not having emails being pushed to my devices

I've found that by not being constantly reminded of my videos on YouTube that it lessens the anxiety. What have you guys done to deal with this? Or am I the only one?

I've done something so revolutionary that not even the biggest YouTubers did this when they were small. Not care! Now, I'm not saying that I don't want my YouTube Channel to grow, but I do this for fun! If I don't start growing like I want, I'm not going to worry. Because, even if I got 1,000,000 Subs, I'm still going to do it for myself! 15 Subs = 1,000 in my mind. My current growth is 10-15 Views a day, and I am really happy with that!

But, I do understand some people worry about it (which is normal) and the only thing I can think to tell you is... Not to think about it as much! It's done a big difference with me! :)

at my current growth it would be a waste to keep checking it, i will just keep putting out the best content i can and in time i may be rewarded, if not, i had fun. ^^

I should watch your videos while I'm drunk or high off of a sugar rush. Would probably be hella. ^.^

YouTube isn't a big deal anyways, that's the key to not caring - seeing that it's not.
