just recently started on youtube, and im starting out very slow. i see some channels grow to thousands in days... is it because they have connections? orrr is my channel just not up to par?

Everyone grows differently. Though majority of people grow very slow I'm the beginning, it's normal.

If someone is gaining thousands in days in the beginning, it's very likely they are cheating the system.

Apply the Newton's first law of motion to your YT channel, count the external force as every subscriber or collaboration you make.

Yeah pretty much every single channel grows very slowly in the beginning. It will get faster as more people find you. Any channels getting thousands of subs per day probably have hundreds of thousands of subscribers, or are buying subs. :)

The average Youtuber normally starts out getting about 11 million views in 1 month like this girl

Yes, that, and good, solid quality content which makes people come back for more. No one says "oh look, that channel uploads videos consistently with crappy quality, let me go watch more!" xD JUST SAYIN PEOPLEZ!

but tey uproad! TEY UPROAD TEH VIDEOS SO MUST CAN SUB!
