I've Got It
So I am getting close to exhausting all ideas and solutions at this point.
My 2nd monitor, "loses connection" randomly for 5 seconds now and again. I will be working or playing and the monitor will just turn black for 5 seconds then come back on.
Is it the power cord or something? No.
Now it is not the power, the monitor is always powered. It seems to lose the connection to the computer.
Is it the HDMI Cables? No.
I have tried 3 different HDMI cables, and my Samsung Monitor has 2 HDMI ports... I have used both.
Is it the GTX1070? No.
I hook the HDMI to my 55" flat screen to play video games, and never once did it flicker or lose connection.
I updated the drivers to the monitors and Nividea graphics driver is up to date.
I read some place that it can be the driver causing this, or the graphics card... but I am baffled why it only happens to my 2nd monitor, and not when it is attached to my 55".
Has anyone ever encountered anything like this before? Even similar? I am running out of avenues to pursue.
