Is Xvid/Divx a good codec?

The new bandicam has this for a codec. Is it better than MPEG-1 and Motion Jpeg?

I would have to say yes. Xvid & DivX has been around for a long time and are still very popular codecs (Even though I prefer H.264 )

It's a decent codec, though if it's going on youtube, H.264 is still the best

Hmmm...I'm afraid to use external codec though bandicam supports it.

MJPEG is one of the best Imo. Excellent quality and adjustable size/quality settings.

.Avi is a fine codec for videos.
