Well OBS has exactly the same functionality as Xsplit (except for plugins) and is better since it lets you stream 1080P 60fps and at any bitrate for free at the same quality (some argue that it gives better quality output). You also need to bear in mind that if your not partnered with twitch then they only lets you broadcast up to 3500 kbps (dunno why you'd stream at 3500 since not everyone can view at that kbps, 2500 is recommended) so even if you put it high on OBS its always going to stream at that. OBS allows you to go up input any bitrate so if your twitch partnered you can make the most of it compared to xsplit where you have to pay to unlock the option. Here is a reddit post about it
