Hello so I am a huge fan of music but the work behind a song. I mostly gravitate towards beat. I am very inspired by Avicii. The DJ who made songs "You wake me up", "Hey Brother" and "Addicted to you" just to name a few. In short he takes vocals from sings like "You wake me up" was originally from Aloe Blac the singer of "The Man" and all of his other songs on not his vocals. The only think that is his is the beat and pretty much the whole production except the vocals. My question is could i do the same thing take just vocals and make my Guitar, Drums, and beat and arrange the vocals without copyright or use it has fair use. I will most likely do vocals of non mainstream singers as that is why seperates me from typical dj's who just use popular songs and adds a beat which is quite easy to do and boring. I think what i will be doing feels like it fall under parody.

And if the answer is no or in the grey area what can I do to use it. As i am only 18 its not like i can ask Aftermath records or interscope records (companies who own most artist that sing) to let a stranger make a song using one of their artists.

btw avicii never gives credits to singers only song he did give credit was "You wake me up" will i have to give credits too?

He uses vocal samples and probably has a sample clearance meaning he paid to be allowed to release the whole thing as his own and distribute/stream it.
