Is this quality too bad?

A Wild Keebzy Appears!
Hey guys,

so i found my old capture card and wanted to do a few old ps2 games but i'm kinda thinking this quality is too bad, its a really old capture card lol what do you think?

I dont think its unwatchable but it could do with a lot of improvement, if you're going to be doing gaming videos often then I would recommend investing in better recording equipment. I think it is fine for a while but people will want to see improvement.

yea i really want to get a hd capture card but sadly due to the fact i'm off college til september, money is a bit too tight to be spending on hardware lol kinda need it for food xD but i am planning on getting one when i start back at college :p but if its not unwatchable i might use this one for now :D thanks for the feedback

I think the quality is watchable.. It's slightly interlaced so im not sure how you exported it? Or if it was already like that when you captured it...

it was recorded as a full uncompressed avi file and then rendered into a high quality mp4, same way i do all my gaming footage for pc as well

Ah okay,

There might be a few methods and editing techniques you could apply to the uncompressed Avi to improve it. It's really just a matter of playing around with it in a piece of editing software and seeing what you can do with it.

Good luck tho! It's definitely watchable! :)

Its watchable.. i mean do what you can now with what you have and when you can upgrade equipment go for it.. but as for now its perfectly fine! :)
