Is this a good start? how can i improve?

Hey guys, im fairly new to the youtube thing, but i have started fairly well i think. Iv'e received 16 subscribers after producing 7 videos. One of which has managed to get 4oo+ views. But, the rest only manage 30-70 views. Also, i post daily, and sometimes, twice daily.

Is this a good start? what can i do to improve?

We can't place a number as a good starting point for YouTube channels. Some channels start off slow, others can gain a plethora of views and followers. It's all about what you make, how well it's done, and a little luck. You've only had a channel for a little over a week, so you must practice patience. I've seen a lot of similar posts on YTT of the same question asking if there's a certain ideology of a YouTube starting point. Things don't happen overnight so don't over-saturate your channel expecting miracles. Quality always beats quantity.
