Is This 1.2m Account Fake?

Wondering if you can help with something...

Somebody messaged me about their account, and to me it looks v fake, because the sub count is 1.2m and daily views only a few thousand. But then some videos have 3m+ views.

Did he buy subs or something?

That doesn’t mean it’s fake, I know a YouTuber with 1 million subscribers and he doesn’t get half of those views. I personally kind find it annoying as a content creator when people look at other YouTubers accounts and accuse them of buying fake subscribers. If he’s has a few million views on some his videos than obviously he’s not buying subscribers.

He probably got big from making a particular type of content and then changed to something else or took a long break, or that type of content became way less popular. There are certainly big channels that can be very popular and then decline very rapidly.

I know some YouTubers who was around for a long time on YouTube and all of sudden they lost their fame. Onision use to get millions of views now he can’t even 100k, but that’s probably because of all the stuff he has done to people.
