It might sound a bit weird and unusual question. But for my youtube banner i would like to use the living room of the simpsons (my friend will draw the banner). I don't know if it's trademarked and should i pay the simpsons for it lol? would i get copyright issues if i use it?
 
You can draw a similar setting, and you'll be find. If you pulled the artwork right from the show then yeah, you'd get in trouble.
