Is Partnering Worth it?

I was thinking about maybe partnering with Curse (Union for Gamers), but I don't know if it's actually worth it or not. I have basically 2,000 subs. Can someone fill me in a bit?

Well where I live, I can't partner with youtube so I have to partner with a third party company. Now I'm with RPM but I will be changing to Curse.

From my understanding most if not all the companies don't offer much aside from access to their "vast" library of music and similar resources, plus some minor protection against copyright all for the price of 40% of your revenue!

Sure you can boost your own profit to 90% with some of them, but only if your channel is massive...

Personally I don't see much benefit to Networks if you're smart with how you do YouTube, obviously tread lightly with copyright and music, unless a Network is actually working to pimp me out across YouTube like a high quality steak I don't see a reason to consider it early on.

I say grow even bigger and continue growing until you get sponsorship. Because people taking a slice of your earnings us not profitable. So instead like Sin B said, tread lightly and be very careful with what you do.

Curse is the only good gaming network ive found. Just due to the fact they only ask for 10%. If you pull in 8k views a month you would be paying less than a dollar for tools other networks charge triple for (tool buddy charges $20 a month just for comparison). Not only that but if you want monthly pay. Even if its only $10 a month they will pay it out to you. Every month. I've asked around a lot about them and read a lot. I've heard great things. So if any of this interests you i'd say go for it. It's the only network i'd work with if I feel its necessary!
