Is One Channel becoming mandatory?

Hello Everyone,

So I remember a lot of people said that the one channel banner layout was becoming mandatory in march or something, and it never happened. I personally prefer the old layout and only switched to One Channel because I thought it was becoming mandatory very soon, but apparently not yet. So is it going to become mandatory to switch to One Channel or is it always going to be a choice?

Yes, it is going to be forced upon every channel on June 5th

Yes it will be made mandatory but for some reason they keep changing the date, I don't really see why many people care anymore I hardly ever find pages on the old layout

They've never officially announced a date before though, its all been speculation, so I'm sure the 5th is the one

I've had an email off Maker Studios saying 1 date, RPM saying another it all seemed a little un-known :')

Thing is YouTube had never announced it, the networks were told speculative dates

Oh okay, guess I'll stick with the new layout then. I'm still subscribed to a lot of channels with the old layout, it's a lot better in my opinion.

you should have recieved a email confirming it is switching over completely on may 29th woot!!!
