Is my average view duration low? Does this mean my content sucks??

I make videos that can be a little bit repetitive but I still think they are super interesting. My videos are on average 2-4 minutes long but my average view duration ranges from 50s to 1 minute. My average percentage viewed is usually around 36%-40%

Are my videos just s****y and not holding any attention? Maybe I should change the format of my videos? It's pretty discouraging but I feel like I just need to use this information to create better content choices. What do you guys think?
 
Well it all depends. You could make good content, but you're just a small channel so they're just checking you out.

I'd say just keep at your work, just try to improve your methods and try to keep people more hooked.
 
You just need a catchy intro, plus if you think your content it good then it's good, try not to focus on the stats I know it's hard.
