Is it smart to show off logos, ect.. before you have your custom URL?

I'd like to post my logo concepts and get some opinions on them. But I do have the slight worry someone could swipe them and nail the custom URL before I get a chance to get started. Is it best to hide these things until after launch?

If you think its all good enough that someone would want to steal it, dont give someone the chance too :)

Depends on the community you are showing it to I guess. Showing it on here would be alright I believe, I don't think anyone on here is that evil but there could definitely be a rotten egg out there

Are you talking about buying a domain, or custom URL on YouTube.

If it was buying a domain, I own like 15 right now, at LEAST 5 of which are "potential ideas" that are all for the same idea, just potential names. Domains are pretty cheap (those 5 were like $50 total AT MOST, likely less as I probably used coupons, haha).

If you mean the YouTube URL...as others have said if you think it is such a crazy good idea that you are going to have people creating a channel just to try to steal the name, whats to keep you from making a gmail account, getting the channel started, verifying, etc? It's not too hard, right? Gmail is free.

I own the domain. I mostly want to make sure I secure the Youtube URL.
