Is it possible to remove copyright strikes?

I have several copyright strikes because in parts of videos that I'd speed up (because silence is boring) I'd put a random song from my library. I don't make money from my videos, but I still got pegged with a copyright strikes. I no longer do this, and instead use music made by my friend since he gave me permission to do so.

These copyright strikes make it impossible for me to join a network. (Low Viewership and Copyright strikes are my problem, but one I know how to fix.)
I was wondering if it would be possible to remove these copyright strikes? Be it by deleting the copyrighted video or something. Because that would include possibly taking down an entire series of mine.

  1. You may wait six months for the strike to expire. The strike will expire as long as you complete Copyright School and receive no additional copyright strikes during those six months.
  2. You may ask the person who claimed your video to retract their claim of copyright infringement.
  3. If your video was mistakenly removed, misidentified as infringing, or qualifies as a potential fair use, you may wish to submit a counter-notification.
And removing the copyrighted video will do nothing

The video says "Matched Third Party Content" but it's under "Copyright notices" in my video manager.
Those aren't copyright strikes, they're Content ID claims. Claims don't affect account status unless the video is blocked worldwide (this will set your 'Content ID claims' section into bad standing until the video is deleted or the claim is gone).

Oh... So I could just delete the videos and regain my good standing?

So the videos that are matched are all blocked worldwide? If yes then yeah I'd delete them. If they aren't blocked worldwide and your account is in good standing then leaving them should be ok.

Claims don't put you in bad standing unless the policy on the claim is block worldwide.
