Is it possible to make your channel popular

Miss Teacher
if you don't really like creating videos?
is it necessary to be really into recording, editing, creating videos to become a successful youtuber?
What if I don't have a deep passion for making videos but I have many favourite channels and want to create something similar and valuable?
I mean I don't have a burning desire to edit videos 1000000 times but I want to create valuable content?
Or maybe the most important thing is only if your PC is powerful enough and pretty efficient, if it lets you create videos without freezing/having problems with memory and software?

I need some clarifying... are you saying you just don't want to be the one who edits the videos? Or that you're just frustrated with the editting process because of the limitations of your computer? Neither of these things should stop your channel from being popular if you produce content that people want to watch.

Yes, I am frustrated because of limitations of my computer. My videos are educational ones, I don't produce anything serious. However there are many causes why I think it will take more than 5 years to make my project popular.
First of all, this editing process is really frustrating.
Secondly, I had different projects before, such as a Telegram channel, a vk.com public page, my site, etc but nothing became popular. I gathered some circle of people around me but all my projects were quite chamber. Besides I dislike "hype" and showing off, I rather prefer something valuable, useful and aesthetical.

Not really sure what to tell you, I would say that most YouTubers don't love editing videos but that's pretty much just the nature of the job

Okay, so now we've pinpointed the problem. : ) And your question was whether your channel could be popular despite this. I think there's no reason that not liking editing would hold back how popular your channel becomes. Unless, you dislike editing enough that you aren't producing new content. But that's something only you can answer. Anyways, best luck. Try to find that creation process rewarding for you somehow!

Edit: I reread the original post and I'm still confused. Ideally, what do you want your role to be in the videos you say you are passionate about making? Do you just want to write the content? Or just appear in the content? What role do you see you having in the creation of the videos? Would someone possibly partner up with you to do the rest?
