Is it now more important than ever to have multiple channels? (FTC, Demonetization risks etc)

Hello,

In the past I was advised to go with one channel for my comedy/vlogs/gaming etc and just split it up into playlists. I'm now wondering if it's important to now split everything up into multiple channels? Let's say I wanted to focus on vlogging my life etc that was more family friendly. Would this be better suited for it's own channel that might be better within bounds for the FTC rules etc? I hear a lot of people also struggle with getting certain videos with ads or having no luck at monetizing at all due to having a video that wasn't safe for a certain audience or graphic nature when 90 percent of their content is totally in the clear for this.

On the other hand I totally get I'd be splitting up my viewers and need 1,000 subs and 4,000 watch hours to make it to certain features and would have to do that on multiple channels but would I really be wasting my time if I built up one channel as a mix of content if it so happened I was flagged etc for one or two videos and it punished the channel overall?

I place my politically or socially charged material on bitchute. The stuff I place on YT is politically and socially sanitized and neutral.
YT is not apolitical. Niether does it support free speech.
My mantra when making YT content is “if in doubt leave it out.”
