Is it better to focus on one genre or post everything

So my channel is growing with subscribers who are interested in cars.
thats what my channel is known for and what people subscribe for.
However, I also have videos of
Animals, Gadgets, Snowboarding, etc that i would like to upload

my question is,
Is it better to stick with Cars and car video only and start another channel for other videos
or
Upload everything onto my "car" channel and take advantage of already subscribed users

Thanks
Any comments, suggestions would be appreciated!

I personally upload a little bit of everything without trying to be a specific genre (though I suppose you could call my genre "thoughts and opinions of Anna" since that's what I post about :p), but if you've stuck with one topic thus far, it might hurt your subscriber count to post off-topic videos on the same channel. I like when other YouTubers categorize their videos on different channels so that I don't have to wade through topics I'm not interested in.

Everyone has a different opinion though, so it's mostly up to you and your subscribers. Maybe ask them for input? :)

I'd say create different channels since yours is already known for car related content, but advertise your other channels on that one so those interested in the other stuff can sub to the other channel and those only interested in cars can stick with that one.

It's probably a double edged sword. You may gain more subscribers for the versatility, but then you may lose subscribers that are specifically there for the car videos. What does it hurt to try? But, I'd probably put them in a different playlist (which was mentioned above).

I think these topics can be blended pretty well, especially cars, gadgetz and snowboarding.
Its not like your blending extreme sports with make up tutorials.

I think as long as your videos are of the same level of impact and the same quality they will be fine with those other "genres" because they are somewhat related anyway.

hmmmm thats not a bad idea. but as long as all videos are good, it should be okay i think....

Upload all of them and just put them in different playlists?

yes i can. but i do not want to annoy subscribers who are there for say animals getting updates on cars.
or is there a way to control this so i do not spam subscribers with uninterested content?

that was another thought...
But im not sure if i would be successful in building up another channel from scratch...
plus networking with two accounts would be PITA...

you are right. it is somewhat related to eachother..

i would say, ask your viewers, they at the end of the day will decide if they wanna watch it or not.
Just do a poll or something, or get people to comment the video with views on what they think :)
