Is click bombing still an issue?

I remember reading about it everywhere in google that people lost their adsense account because of someone repeatedly clicking on their ads and how it's crucial to associate with a separate network in order to earn money safely. Is this issue is still present in 2016. I'm planning to link my adsense account with my youtube channel by the end of march.

I think this problem is more prominent on websites rather than YouTube. I also use Adsense and I like to monitor my analytics at least once a day. If I do see something strange I report it here: https://support.google.com/adsense/contact/invalid_clicks_contact Zero problems so far.

Hasn't been an issue for me and I've been monetizing since 2011. I think their algorithms have improved to automatically resolve the issue rather than punishing the publishers who haven't broken any rules.
