Is blip.tv worth it?

I know this is a YouTube forum, but I'm going to ask you guys if you think uploading videos to blip.tv is worthwhile time investment? Anyone have any experience?
I was thinking of keeping my main channel then going with blip.tv for my secondary one. (videos would eventually get crossposted to YouTube)

So, thoughts and experiences with blip.tv? :)

Is that the video platform that Maker Studios bought?

Well I suppose, that starting channels (or the equivalent) on new or just small-medium sized platform can be good as if they ever hit off big time, then the first channels will usually be the biggest.

Huh I actually had no clue they bought it! It's not exactly new per say, it's been going on since 2005 ish, but it seems that you HAVE to apply to be able to upload there. Luckily I have a producer account, so I was wondering. i thought that since millions of people aren't allowed to upload it might allow me to stick out more.
 
Blip isn't known to be a great platform for vloggers and gamers, but it is a more respectable platform due to its exclusivity. If you have time and energy available, go for it, but if it means diverting energy from YouTube, I would say no.

That said, who knows how Maker's purchase is going to affect Blip in the future? It may benefit you to get in now before changes happen... or those hypothetical changes could totally work against you. I know that's not helpful in itself, but it may be a good conversation starter. :)

That's what I thought too, it might help me due to exclusivity.. I have the energy and time so I'll give it a go :)
