Hey all! I’m starting a youtube series (my first attempt) just yesterday and it would be mostly about reviews on films. What I am trying to reach is a small but active circle of people that are interested in the movies so I don’t want to use sub4sub but yet again I don’t want to be making videos just for myself. The problem is I don’t know where to promote it. We movie fans don’t have a lot of forums or places to interact with one another and that is what I am trying to change but I don’t know how to continue. Any suggestions?

Maybe try IMDb? Post your review in the forum of the movie you're reviewing. Sounds like a good idea, there aren't that many movie reviewers on YouTube.

That's actually something I thought about but the thing is ... If you are active on the IMDb then why subscribe to a film reviewer in YouTube? The content would be basically the same but at IMDb they would have bigger crew and would be very well prepared. Not to mention that they do reviews before the movie itself comes out and I don't think one could compete with that. Also there is the issue that the forum is separated for the different films. Is not as much of a forum as it is a message board and I fear people would be more irritated by me posting my youtube videos there than actually viewing them.

But you are right there aren't many people reviewing films on the tube and it is a petty because I think this is a general interest to most people.

Yeah, I want to do movie reviews as well and was thinking the same thing as to where to post the videos and if it was even worth it to upload the videos. I have so many movie reviews that I could do, but wasn't sure about where to post it.
