Request Intros necessary for music videos?

Hello, I'm not plenty sure if there are intros for music covers or originals, since people mostly wants to listen to the song.

Should this intro show part of the song before the song itself, plus the channel name or songname?

I'd like an intro for my videos, mostly with the colors of my avatar and a text saying ACG Covers & Originals, maybe with some light and chrome/metallic effects.

The fact is, I don't if I must use it on all my videos since what I've said before, but maybe this will catch up people to think about the quality of my videos and time spent on them. Any idea or help?
 
Maybe use just one good part of a song, like a chorus or riff, which you think is the best or is the most viewed on your channel. That way your promoting your own music in your videos ;)
