If I was to be 100% honest, intros look very bad on videos unless you are noticed by a vast majority of the community.
its ok for networks like "Machimina" because its for one very short and two they are very known.
as you are starting out, I recommend thinking about video intros later.

Most people like intros, It means people can't steal your videos, Give you a professional feel. And makes people know its you everytime you see it. Brand Identity

Most people like intros, It means people can't steal your videos, Give you a professional feel. And makes people know its you everytime you see it. Brand Identity

People can steal your videos anyway. Five minutes in Movie Maker and it's done.

However, it's true, the intro (if made correctly) can give you professional look. But if someone really wants brand identity, he will need unique intro for that (and by that I mean not the intro made out of free template)
