Interview with a new British Powerlifting champion?

Mr Rider

Who are you?! - Lui C
It's extremely early days for me at the moment. I only set my channel up the other day and have a grand total of one video up at the moment. A channel trailer to be precise.
I do however happen to be friends with a British powerlifting champ, who's only been doing it a year and has broken multiple British records and matched the commonwealth record for his category all despite being told as a kid he'd never be able to even walk due to his Spinabifida & Scholiosis.

As a person he's quite an inspiration.

He's asked me to do some video editing for promotional training videos with him and that's kinda why got the urge to finally set up a channel. I figured well I always wanted to set one up anyway and getting into the editing process would spur me on. It did.

Thing is, the channel is intended to be a comedy/vlog/gaming/review channel over time.

Question is, do you guys think this would be a good direction to go in so early?

Haha, that simple?

The reason I'm wavering is that with the intended direction of the channel, transitioning between such different content might be quite jarring.
