YTtalk's Chicken Salad
Are the iMovie sound effects and songs creative commons or are they copyrighted? I've used them in my videos and I could monetize it no problem.
But have you actually used iMovie?Unless specified I think they would come under copyright. If you are looking for music under creative commons. I would suggest Newgrounds dot com under the audio section. You will find a lot of cool music there.
But have you actually used iMovie?
Well I was fine by just uploading seperatly so does that happen to everyone? i make it on my mac and then post it on my pc, will it unmonitize? (its already monetized)I have used iMovie, sound effects once & I learned my lesson, they don't let you monetize it if you upload the video separately, you must use the built in upload function to be able to monetize the video, if not they will try to take the video down or tell you that you have copyrighted material, even though in iMovie's terms & conditions it clearly states that we have the right to use them freely & we are able to make money using their audio files, yet Youtube always does that. Some people including me,after uploading 10 or more videos to Youtube through iMovie we experience a problem it stops uploading to Youtube, so if you experience that, then upload it separately but it might detect your using iMovie sound effects & stop you. I speak from experience.![]()
