I'm thinking of reviving an old show

When I was younger,I did a show where I made fun of viral videos. I know,a pretty common thing on YouTube, but it was more talk-showy and such.

Anyways,I'm a comedian at heart, and the show really inspired me to do things I normally wouldn't do. Now I since cancelled the show when I ended my old channel.

I loved that show, I did a lot for it, and had friends on it, and tested out special effects, and saw myself age xD I honestly, loved making it. The show was edited on Windows Movie Maker (the program that got me into editing,as for a lot of people), and I want to do it again.

I feel like I lost my roots as a YouTuber. I'm doing too many different things now. I want to go back to sitting in my messy room at the age of 12, recording some silly show just because I loved doing it. Not for subs or views,just because it was fun. I want to use movie maker to edit the videos, and I want to use my s****y effects again.

I'm thinking of reviving the show, with updated material and a new name of course (the old name use my old channel's name in it). I just want to know, should I do it, or stick to trying new things?
 
Do the things you enjoy doing! It's important to like the content you're making, so if you think you'll have more fun making that old style of video, just do it!
 
If you enjoyed doing it, like @Kaleido said, go for it! YouTube is about creating content that makes YOU happy, and if that's what you love to do, then do it, buddy! :D
 
go for it man, if you feel like you would enjoy doing it and as well with upgrades then give it a chance, GO NUTS hahahaha
