I'm rendering on AME (Adobe Media Encoder) I have a question!

I rendered a video in AME which is 19 minutes long. I also added denoising and a lot of color correction and color grading. I rendered it, slept then when I woke up this morning... It was still rendering after 9 hours. And it's still gonna render for the next 16 hours.

My question is, can you pause the render and then shut off the computer then resume it again afterwards? or will it start back to 0%? Help please! Thank you.

Hey buddy!

You can pause renders but you cannot resume after a computer restart. It sounds like we need to get you a computer upgrade. You can't be putting out those awesome vfx videos and take that long to render your vids =X.

Is this our collab video? =O

Oh hey man! what a coincidence... Damn. I'll just have to wait until tomorrow for it finish then. Yup it's the collab video :) It's not the whole thing though. I just rendered out the after effects shots and the dark scenes which I denoised cuz the preview's getting slow.[DOUBLEPOST=1388477217,1388477197][/DOUBLEPOST]

I'm really excited to see how it turns out! Did the shots we do for you turn out okay?

It's great! I was actually just about to ask what lens you use. :)
Great! I'm so glad.

We only have one lens at the moment because our money has been going towards living instead of equipment xD
That being said we needed one lens that can do it all and will be most versatile.

We are using the 30mm Sigma 1.4 EX lens.

It is wide enough we can work in a small environment but our shots aren't distorted. It does quite well in low light and it has a super shallow depth of field if wanted.

I want to get an 85 prime, 50 prime and a wide angle lens and we will be set for sometime.

But got to sell a few more commercials first xD
