If you could change one thing about YouTube...

Stop that annoying auto-play and auto-video thing on videos. When I click a link or a channel I don't the damn video to just start playing while I'm loading other pages or things. And when a video is over, I want it to be over and not automatically start playing the next video in line. Or at least set it up on your account so the videos don't auto-play when you watch them.

If youtubers are not allowed to monetize their videos then google will do it anyway so either way you are going to have ads on vids.

Monetization and ads are two different things, I'm all for ads they pay for server upkeep. What my post was about is removing the monetization of video's not the removal of ads.
 
If people couldn't monetize in the traditional sense through adwords and networks- you would see more blackhat stuff all over the place. In fact the people that make the most through monetization aren't even partners of youtube or a network.

Hold on, you mean no ads on the videos? So how do the people who upload videos make any money?
 
I just want the old site layout back, from 2010. It was the one i started out with and was the one i love! I LOVED my channel design and while i'm okay with it now.. it isn't practical. I have a full youtube partnership without the update to the channels so i can have a banner anyways. I just want it back to the way it was. Come on now.
 
I would get rid of the copyright thing or at least make it equal for everyone! that means if small channels can't do it big channels can't either and if small channels can then the big channels can people keep asking me to sing I told them no but they don't listen no means no they make me freak out sometimes
