If some one was to speak in game chat over your video. Would you need their permission?

I was just wondering do you need their permission or not, most gamers have voices over but I hardly doubt they ask for permission because half the time they are raging. And some of them are trolled so I doubt they would want to be in the video. What is your view on this and what are the rules?

i don't know the exact details on this, but i use people voices all the time.. in most places.. if there is an assumption of privacy you can get in trouble but since this is a public place where they know there is no assumption of privacy you are safe... its like being outside.. and recording.. they can't stop you, because they have no right to privacy in a public setting..

What are the chances of them seeing the video? I don't think there's much of an issue. I think SaKenMadRaj hit the nail on the head.

Nowadays everybody's filming or recording their online gaming anyways. So... if you don't want people to hear your voice on some random YT video... don't talk with the game mic headset thing when you're playing online.
