Ideas for new gaming series

So I've run into a bit of a dry spot when it comes to making youtube videos. Primarily because I'm running out of games where I think that my main series "15 minutes of game" isn't as popular as I had hoped it would be, and also because I feel like I need something that's... More one game, making something out of it (Like most building/sandbox games).

The games I've been thinking about during it with is FM16, Cities Skyline, Youtubers Life or Civ 5.

My biggest problem is that I'm not sure how to make them more attractive, as they are games that takes a lot of time with long videoes (like 15-20 minutes).

If anyone would like to brainstorm something with me, I would be sooooo happy! :)

Hey NickVonDuke! I checked your channel and gave some thought on any ideas to help you out! I think the idea you had of '15 minutes of game' is pretty cool and provides and interesting take on how to give your audience a sneak peak at a particular game! I think you should continue with this idea and keep trying out different games, maybe targeting shorter games might be helpful! Along with the series maybe targeting a single game, where you play through it all might be good for your audience to stick to and resume until its end! Perhaps a sandbox game like a continuation of Youtuber's life or trying out Minecraft, which is known for its wide ranged creativity! I'll also recommend trying out the Sims, purely because I always enjoy that and theres plenty of creativity and user input in that game as well! Since it looks like you play PC, Steam definitely can have plenty of games to check out and try out! I hope this was somewhat helpful, don't give up! Just keep making content!

That really helped me out, thank you! :D I would also love to make some games from PS4 or Xbox One, but having trouble making it all work out (Recorded gameplay, webcam, mic, etc.) so for now i'm staying with PC. :) But something should come up very soon.

I would agree with Crash, keep up with your '15 mins of game' series. Its a good introduction series to new games for your audience, so rather than playing popular games they already know, maybe some new ones just released.

As for a series with a single game. Are you concerned that the videos will be too long? Because you mentioned longer videos around 15 - 20 mins. If so just find a good cliff hanger ending or build up the next video by giving a preview. I would suggest keeping these videos to 10 - 12 mins, but thats only if you can find a good point to stop your game to end the video.

Just a few thoughts, hope I can help.

That helps me a lot actually. :D

The reason I was concerned with the longer videoes is because it might scare people away if they have to watch a 20-30 min video. But I'm still gonna do it with 1-2 games. :D
