Idea that can be well received or hated

I had an idea where I wanted to mess around with bigger youtubers. My channel is pretty much trying to do stuff other people do just as bad as them. Well that got me thinking, why not try to do stuff that other youtubers do. Basically I would take one of there videos and try to do the same thing. For example, take a popular baking show and try to make the exact same thing as them and call them out on it. Of course I will give them credit for the idea and I will poke fun at them.

Two things could happen people will like this or they might think I'm making fun of them and their fans will attack me. I don't know, it's an idea. If anybody wants to steal go ahead.

You want to make it so your not out and out bashing them
do it in a tasteful sense, make it funny and something viewers of the other channel will be able to relate too and agree with
that way it would lead to positive growth rather than negative
I personally don't like when i see people just attack somebody

Depends on the video's, If its vlogs then good luck as it will be unlikely to get many views. The reason being is that vloggers are unoriginal as f**k so every 13 yr old teenage girl already copies the exact videos of their favorite vloggers. So your video will just get buried under 10 tons of s**t.

As for ImJustAsBad, I'd say it'll probably get you a lot of hate, but that's to be expected. However, if you could pull it off in a funny way, you have potential gold there.

And honestly I have full out insulted and called out youtubers before, I get death threats all the time. The only thing is, is that I used to deal with people actually trying to kill me in real life, not some teenage girls getting brave on their Ipad. If you can deal with the 'hate' then GOOD because that means you are at a stage where you can literally do anything you want and not afraid of steeping on toes or getting backlash from things.

If you are questioning weather the backlash is worth it, I would advise you not to do it just because you aren't fully sure if you will be able to deal with it. If you don't care about the backlash, at that point you should go ahead and do things such as making jokes of other youtubers etc.

I don't care about the black splash and also I won't be making fun of them. I'll just show how hard it is to do what they do. Some of these youtubers make things look real easy but in actuality trying to do the things they do is really hard. I would go about it in a silly way. Mostly poking fun at the situation and not really making fun of them because I'm not that kind of person.

I'm not really talking about doing a parody. Let me give an example. Lets say there's this big youtuber who shows you how to make a castle cake. Well, I'll try and make the castle cake the same way (with my spin on it) and show how hard or how easy it is. I won't make fun of the person I'll just make fun of my situation. In fact, I think it would be funny to have their video playing in the back ground while making the cake.
