Icons are pretty blurry on YouTube, is there a fix?

Animation Yey!
So i made a vector, clear as day, new icon for my channel (using it here too) but on my main page it looks really blurry. it's a jpg at 800x 800. is there something I can do to fix this? is this just the browser? (chrome) How does it look to you guys?

This is what Im seeing:

This was the original: (which is not as blurry despite being a chopped bit from one of my vids)

And here is the new one:

I guess this is also a topic asking if you guys like the new icon too :) (i wanted to keep it as similar as I could to the original, so it would still be familiar to those that knew me by my old one, but made it look a little professional)[DOUBLEPOST=1437002069,1437001895][/DOUBLEPOST]It looks great on this site though, maybe its a youtube problem?

From one artist to another, you did a great job. Try saving your images as TIF. It should improve the quality.
Thank you! :) Thanks for the advice!
She meant her avatar :p
800x800 is fine for avatar, as it's squared.

It's not that low quality on your YouTube page, is it?
Looks fine to me.

Ive just realised I have my browser set to +150 zoom, as youtube's text is ridiculously unreadably tiny at 100%. So it might be that, if it looks fine to you im happy ^v^

For anyone coming late to this thread, a really good and free photo editor I use is called GIMP. Its open source and has many of the functions of photoshop without the pricetag.
Pic Monkey will also work (in browser) but requires a little funny business to get the right aspect output. The upside is that there is no download.
